X-GEN - filteru
"filteru" reads a file with environment variable name UREFLS and writes
out another with environment variable UREFOUT. It writes out
reflections from the input until it encounters one with an intensity
below -100000 or with a sigma smaller than 0.1; at that point it
closes the output file and exits cleanly. Such conditions generally
signal nonsensical data arising from a nonstandard termination
of the integration program, and when that happens "reduce" will
sometimes become confused in processing the output of that run
of "integrate". So running the output through "filteru" increases
the likelihood that "reduce" will handle the data properly.
