X-GEN - newr
"newr" adjusts the orientation matrix associated with a data run so
that the starting goniostat angles of the run are changed from those
originally present to a new set. Thus if the original run had starting
goniostat angles (omega0, chi0, phi0) and the subsequent run had
starting goniostat angles (omega1, chi1, phi1), then this routine will
convert the pseudo-goniostat angles (omegaE, chiE, phiE) accordingly.
This functionality is irrelevant in the current sequence of X-GEN
capabilities, since the pseudo-goniostat angles are all referenced
to a common origin, namely (omeag, chi, phi) = (0, 0, 0). It is
only relevant in manipulating UPARAMS files (parameter output
files created in "refine") created prior to about 1992,
when the (0, 0, 0) referencing technique was adopted.
