X-GEN - utos
"utos" reads a file with environment variable name UREFLS and writes out
another with environment variable XHKL. The output is in the format
normally expected by XPREP and the various versions of SHELX, viz.
- 17 -25
1 349.25 18.21 2
- 36 -21
30 1.54 13.75 2
where the fields are h, k, l, I, sigma(I), and a batch number, respectively.
By default the batch number is set proportional to the omega-start value;
b = 2 + 200 * b0 + (omega - omega0) / 20
where b0 is the batch start number (see "Parameters"). If the -n option is
given, then all the batch values will be set to b0. Before output, the data
are scanned to identify the largest intensity in the dataset. If that value
is larger than 10000, then the data are rescaled down to where the largest
value is in fact 10000.
Set all the batch numbers to b_0 rather than making them variable.
Ordinarily the profile-fitted intensities are output, Invoking "utos"
with -s causes it to use the simply-summed intensities instead.
specifies the starting batch-number. Default: 0.
